|
The TCL head mounting transmitters are a low cost and simple way to convert thermocouple or RTD sensor signals to 4-20mA. Transmitters are available in either standard or premium grades, with premium grades having fully linearised outputs. The major restriction on mounting the transmitter in the sensor alloy head is ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature is above 70oC the transmitter must be remotely mounted. Field mount IP65 polycarbonate enclosures and simple DIN rail converter clips are available. RTD transmitters are inherently more accurate and are available in ranges to 400oC. Thermocouple transmitters are available for all thermocouple types, but only type K is normally stocked. |
